The trail traverses narrow ridgetops above the surrounding rolling countryside, and travelers are treated to numerous views that reach to the Springfield Plateau to the northwest and to Arkansas' Boston Mountains to the South. Sugar Camp Road also offers ridge top views of Ozark scenery. Located on the Ava-CassvilleRanger District the 10-mile forest drive runs between Highway 112 near Roaring River State Parkand Highway 86 near Eagle Rock.
