2013's Best Two-Day Vacations

No longer the bland brother to Montreal, Toronto is becoming certifiably hip: architecture by Gehry and Libeskind, a huge annual film festival, a boom in hotel construction (including a new Four Seasons in Yorkville), and restaurants from David Chang and Daniel Boulud. It has always been multicultural, but it’s now growing by 100,000 people each year—enough for two Chinatowns in the city center alone. Check out West Queen West for a dose of Brooklyn, Canada-style; hit the Distillery District for shops and art on the grounds of a former whiskey distillery.
