What to do in Park City

Host to three top ski resorts—Deer Valley, The Canyons, and Park City Mountain Resort—Park City the place can feel a little like a labyrinth of micro-destinations. It’s also bigger than you’d expect. But once you get your bearings and find your way from lodging to slope to après-ski venue, it all starts to fall into place. Park City’s Main Street strip of bars, clubs, and eateries focuses around a mix of spit-and-sawdust stalwarts like No Name Saloon and Grill or fusion joints like the ever-popular Wahso. While the sun’s still in the sky, avail yourself of that legendary pow and corduroy in ski resorts like The Canyons, or come in summer to rip those same slopes with a pair of knobbies instead of fat tips. As all the brochures will tell you, Park City’s just a hop from Salt Lake City—but an entire world of ripping outdoor fun apart.
