Wolf Creek, formerly known as Nordic Valley, is not typically considered a major threat to its neighboring ski resorts, but perhaps is should be. It has an amazing variety of terrain in a mere 85 skiable acres and the entire resort is open for night-time skiing and snowboarding. Those interested in terrain parks will be happy to know that the Wolf's Lair Terrain Park recently doubled in size. Located 50 miles north of Salt Lake City, Wolf Creek is a good choice for budget-minded families with small children.
