Overview by Mitch Kaplan
Mount Snow was once the province of bizarre innovation and the nonstop partying weekend. Today, it sprawls over more than 630 acres and 135 trails, and remains one of the "happening" eastern resorts on weekends. These days the "with it" clientele is snowboarding teens and mogul mashing Gen-Xers. Not to worry, there is something for everyone herethe Carinthia terrain parks (there are eight of them) and the rock music piped in create an exceptional younger generation, go-for-it atmosphere.

I went with my ski club to Mount Snow last year. It lived up to it's name. There was good deep snow and well groomed at all times. Short lines and fast lifts make for a lot of skiing in a day. Lot's of trails, but not that challenging to expert skiers in search of steep vertical, but great for a weekend family outing. Very friendly staff.
Pros: Short lines, Great for kids, Well maintained, Easy to access.
