Overview by Mitch Kaplan
This is the Pocono's largest ski area. The recent additions of high-speed quad chairlifts has eased lift lines, while additional trails have helped to spread skier traffic. The resort offers destination amenities, night skiing on all 34 trails, and a multi-chute snowtubing facility. But it's the combination of good kids programs, wide intermediate trails, and advanced slopes featuring true steeps that creates a complete package within easy driving distance of Philadelphia and New York.
What's New: Camelback added 50 new high-efficiency snow guns for the 2011-12 season and beefed up the features in its CBK Terrain Park, adding $11,000 in rails, boxes, and bonks.
