The theme park is seasonal, with thrill-seekers flocking here for the 15 coasters, the most at any park outside the U.S. Summer 2010 is a good time to visit, with the opening of the new Planet Snoopy and its three new rides.

There are adequate dining options at the hotel, and a Starbucks right in the lobby, but you are walking distance to more than 15 restaurants and popular nightspots. All 312 guestrooms and suites in the ten-story hotel have Sheraton's cushy "Sweet Sleeper Beds," satellite TV with HBO and pay-per-view movies, and high-speed Internet access. Amenities in kitchenettes include refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee/tea makers. An upgrade to Sheraton Club bumps up the amenities with free bottled water, free access to the 25,000-square-foot Parkway Athletic Club, and complimentary breakfast and afternoon hors d'oeuvres.

This is one squared-away Sheraton, with three pools (two indoors), four squash courts, badminton and basketball courts, virtual golf, and billiard and ping-pong tables. The athletic club is open 24 hours a day with aerobics, spinning classes, yoga and aqua fit (and all the cardio machines have LCD TVs). The full-service Caesar Spa offers everything from massages to hair styling. Even the family dog is welcome here.
