The rooms at Peaks of Otter are bright and airy, with a large back window that offers views of Abbott Lake and a wooded hillside. All but two rooms have either a balcony or a patio with two chairs. Each room has a tiled bathroom and the majority of rooms have two double beds. One king is available in several rooms.

This lodge is a favorite for many travelers on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a peaceful, wandering two-lane road through the Appalachians.
