Old Faithful Inn is the icon of national park lodges in the most famous of America's national parks, Yellowstone. This lodge has just about everything you could want in a national park lodge including history, atmosphere, and charm. The central section of the lodge was constructed in 1903 with two large wings added in 1913-14 and 1927. Modifications over the years include additions to the dining room and major changes to the lobby. Old Faithful Inn is the only one of three lodges in the Old Faithful area (the other two are upscale Old Faithful Snow Lodge and rustic Old Faithful Lodge and Cabins) without cabins or an annex.
The Inn is quite large and offers a total of 327 rooms that vary in size, views, bathroom facilities, and configurations. The original portion of the Inn, called the "Old House," has rooms that provide the ambiance of a historic lodge, and
