Hershey Lodge

Consistently named one of the best theme parks in the Northeast, Hersheypark has three "official" places to stay, and the family-friendly Hershey Lodge gets our vote. Maybe it's the free candy, or the kid-size check-in that includes chocolate, or the silly Hershey candy bar character that you run into in the cozy lobby (fun for photos), or Forebay restaurant's chocolate martini for mom and dad.
Whatever, it's a step down in stuffiness from historic Hotel Hershey, and a step up in terms of amenities from Hershey Highmeadow Campground. Even the 665 guestrooms and suites will have you dreaming of chocolate, with Hershey's Kisses on the bed linens, wall lighting, and wallpaper in the bathroomsall quite subtle, but no mistaking that you're in Hershey's realm here.
The staff is tuned in to kids, organizing activities like bingo (win chocolate, of course), mini-golf, and "dive-in" movies at the outdoor pool. Guests also enjoy the "Hershey Resorts Advantage,"

Family Review of Hershey Lodge
- This hotel is big (over 600 rooms) so you may want to ask about getting a room close to the pool, lobby or parkingwhichever you think you'll be using the most.
Tennis courts, a mini gold course, outdoor basketball, shuffleboard, family movies at the outdoor pool (there’s an indoor pool, too), and a playground will give the whole family something to do during downtime. Ask about playing family bingo to win treats and look for Hershey's characters to greet kids in the lobby.
Parking is free and there's a complimentary shuttle to and from HersheyPark (seasonally). You may return to find some Hershey’s Kisses on your pillow after a long day of hitting the rides.
