AWAY.COM TRIPS OF A LIFETIME SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY 1. HOW TO ENTER: Visit the Away.com website at http://www.Away.com beginning 12:01AM (EST) 2/7/00 through 11:59PM (EST) 4/15/00 and access the registration page, and complete the form. Limit: One registration entry per person. In addition, you will receive one additional entry for each person (primary referral) who registers and lists you as the referring party. You will also receive one additional entry for each person (secondary referral) who shows your primary referral on his registration. Limit: 24 additional entries per registered entrant from primary and secondary referrals. Away.com ("Sponsor") assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunctions or for other errors, failures, or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature, or for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. 2. DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about 4/25/00 conducted by Promotion Activators, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this sweepstakes. 3. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open only to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited. Employees of Away.com and its affiliates and subsidiaries; their respective sales representatives, advertising, promotion and judging agencies and the immediate families or household members of each are not eligible. 4. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: five (5) certificates for one Away.com trip for two, each with a retail value of up to $10,000.00, plus $2,000.00 per trip in cash. Only one trip may be taken per year. All trips must be completed by 5/1/05. Cash portion of all trips will be paid in a lump sum upon winner qualification. Trip values based on Away.com pricing at the time travel arrangements are made. No cash credit will be awarded if actual trip value is below stated maximum. Approximate retail value: $60,000.00. Three (3) First Prizes: a certificate for one Away.com trip for two persons valued at up to $8,000.00 from one of three categories (Adventure Travel, Cultural Adventures or Green Travel) of winner's choice, plus $2,000.00 in cash, payable upon winner qualification. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: Winners will be notified by overnight delivery and will be required to execute and return via overnight delivery an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 7 days of notification or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
