Rapidly becoming the pleasure destination in Southwest Oklahoma, our property also offers numerous activities including golf, a seasonal fun park for all ages, paddle boating, hiking and nature trails. A 50 acre riding area for four-wheelers is located on the north shore of Lake Altus-Lugert that is closed during winter months. Our lodge features 118 rooms in Western, Native American, or Southwestern decor. We offer rooms with one king bed or two double beds, as well as six handicap accessible rooms. Each hotel guest room features four pieces of original art. Our two-story guesthouse is a short walk across a beautiful courtyard from the main lobby, restaurant, lounge, gift shop, library and ballrooms. We also manage nine cabins (pets welcome), and a 64-person bunkhouse, as well as RV hookups and primitive campsites. The resort also features a heated indoor swimming pool and adjacent hot tub/whirlpool, and a full service restaurant, the Sundance Cafe. Ask about our Quartz Mountain Flyer excursion train outings. Recreation rentals available through leased concessions adjacent to property. Rates $$$ (65-100+). Group rates/comp room available with 20 rooms booked. Other group services offered include complimentary walking tours and spa/salon services.

From Altus, turn N on Hwy 44A, cross the bridge and turn right at the Y. Follow the road past the group camp and grocery for a scenic mountain drive to the lodge. Climate
This state has a mild climate due to its southern location and low elevations. The western regions of the state are somewhat drier than that of the east. Winter temperatures range from 50 degrees to 25 degrees F. The season extends from December through February and very little snow fall during this period. Spring begins in March, with temperatures between 50 and 70 degrees F. Temperatures rise throughout the season and summer highs begin to peak in July and August. All regions of Oklahoma receive days with temperatures reaching 100 degrees. The southwestern corner of the state usually records the hottest temperatures. by October fall temperatures provide relief from the heat of summer. Temperatures during this season reach into the 60s for highs and dip into the 30s for the lows. The relative humidity has an annual average of 64 percent. The most rainfall occurs during the months of May and June. Address
