Regional Guide
Colorado skiing. The words conjure up images of schussing down pine-studded slopes, riding the chair lift past jagged peaks, and having the widest possible range of runs in America. It's all true. Some of the nation's largest and best-equipped resorts are out here, along with amazing scenery and some fantastic Western towns.
Not a skier? Not a problem! The area also boasts plenty of opportunities for the non-downhiller, from fantastic cross-country trails to snowmobile runs to snowshoeing trails to downhill tubing runs. Even if your game is just to kick back in the gorgeous Western lodges and relaxing hot tubs, you'll find plenty of reasons to visit.
And if the cold weather doesn't agree with you, by all means come when it's warm! The summertime wildflowers are some of the best in the nation; the hiking can't be beat, and the mountain biking is some of the most challenging and fun anywhere!
