The pristine beauty of Resurrection Bay. Boat trips around the bay are a popular way to see the Kenai Peninsula's mountains, glaciers, and occasionally humpback whales, which feed in the bay. An abundant stock of salmon, halibut, rockfish, and cod also make the bay a popular spot for fishing trips.
Sea lions are just one of the many marine mammal species that inhabit Kenai Fjords National Park. Harbor seals, sea otters, dolphins, porpoises, as well as orca, minke, and humpback whales may all be seen in the park's waters.
