Since it's located approximately seven degrees north of the equator and outside the main Pacific typhoon zone, typhoons are somewhat rare in Palau, making for great year-round beach travel.
June to August are the wettest months in Palau, with June seeing the most thunderstorms. February and March are the driest, but rain can strike at any time of year.
Water temperatures in Palau vary little throughout the year, with the average temperatures hovering around a comfy 82 degrees.

The Republic of Palau, located in the western Pacific, southeast of The Philippines, makes up one of the most unique island groups in the world. Mushroom-shaped limestone isles smothered in green look as though they were scooped up with a spoon and plopped into the neon-green and blue waters.
