What to do in Albuquerque
As one of the few cities in the Southwest with a major international airport, Albuquerque is often considered a gateway to other regional adventures. But this sprawling modern city rewards those who linger before tracing the adobe-studded route toward Santa Fe or making for the rarefied air of the Sandia Mountains. Home to an eclectic mix of museums, Albuquerque invites visitors to explore Ice Age artifacts at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, marvel at the world's largest rattlesnake exhibition at the American International Rattlesnake Museum, or scare themselves witless at the National Atomic Museum. Other cultural and historic attractions abound, including the Spanish colonial-era architecture of Old Town's central plaza or the artifacts and photography at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.

I'm trying to do something very adventurous for my boyfriends birthday. He lives in Albuquerque and I'm trying to stay in the area. He really wants to go bungee jumping. Is there any good bungee jumping in or close to Albuquerque, NM?
Thanks!

My plans are to attend the balloon fiesta Oct. 3 thru 6 and will be staying at Kirkland AFB. I'll be traveling with my 87 year old limited mobility mother and would like to know if there are places at or near the site to accommodate the handicapped, or possibly an alternate means of transportation.
(wheelchair but can do some walking)
