What to do in Mistletoe State Park

This Park takes its name from Mistletoe Junction, a local area where people used to gather mistletoe during the holidays. Located on Clark's Hill Lake near Augusta, this park is known as one of the finest bass fishing areas in the nation. During the summer, guests can cool down at the swimming beach. or on eight miles of shaded nature trails. Canoes and boats can be rented. The park has ten fully equipped cottages on Clarks Hill Lake. The campground is situated on an small peninsula, offering spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset over the water.

This park is in the piedmont region of Georgia.

The park is equipped with 3 boat ramps, a swimming beach, 2 nature trails, a 12 mile hiking trail, a campground, 4 picnic shelters, and cottage and boat rentals. These amenities provide an array of recreation opportunities.

Located off Georgia Hwy. 150, 7.9 miles north of I-20 exit #60.

Georgia generally experiences mild, comfortable winters and warm to hot, humid summers. The area can offer a relatively warm escape for snow-free outdoor recreation during the winter months. Be prepared for occasional cold weather during the winter, especially at the higher elevations in northern Georgia.
