we are traveling with 4 adults and 3 (possibly 4) small children ranging from <1 up to 3...

we are traveling with 4 adults and 3 (possibly 4) small children ranging from <1 up to 3 years, hopefully in the first week of January. We are looking for an all inclusive with fun stuff to do for the children and the adults. We will be leaving from Connecticut and dont want to travel too long with the children, what would you suggest? We are open to Mexico, Belize, Puerta Rico and anywhere else we can get to fairly quickly. Not the Bahamas as we want to go warmer.

I was wondering how far and how difficult it would be to fly into Puerta Vallarta and stay in Manzanillo? Would we take a cab, bus or rent a car be better?

Is it safe to book a trip June 5-12 to Puerta Vallarta weather wise? I don't want it to be rainy! We usually go to Cabos San Lucas-and I love how Cabo is in the desert and NEVER rains! Would be disappointed if it rained!
