Ocho Rios Romance Travel Tips

There is no international airport in Ocho Rios. Instead, you'll fly to Montego Bay, Jamaica's main airport (and one of the best connected in the Caribbean). You can take a private taxi to Ocho Rios, but most resorts offer shuttles that make the 90-minute transfer from the airport, delivering guests right to the lobby. The Kingston airport is located two hours from Ocho Rios.
Jamaican marriage requirements are straightforward. If you haven't been hitched previously, you only need to bring your proof of citizenship (certified birth certificate). You can wed the day after arrival, providing an application has been made to the Ministry of National Security and Justice at least 24 hours prior to the ceremony. Make it easier still by having your resort coordinate documents and obtain the license ahead of your arrival.
