What to do in Montego Bay

While some parts of Jamaica might be a little rough around the edges, everything in Montego Bay wafts luxury, from the tropical breezes to cosmopolitan hotels, restaurants, and beachfronts. The legendary Round Hill Hotel and Villas sit on a stunning hillside above a secluded beach on the southern end of “Mo Bay,” while Half Moon, often ranked one of the world’s best hotels, spans two miles of coastline set against 400 acres on the bay’s northern end. Half Moon’s Sugar Mill Restaurant serves up some of the best dining on the island with locally inspired dishes like smoked marlin, jerk pork, and homemade rum-raisin ice cream. Work up an appetite on 18 holes at the Robert von Hagge-designed White Witch of Rose Hall Golf Course, or just enjoy the golden sands and blue waters of Mo Bay’s gorgeous beaches, one of Jamaica’s most coveted treasures.
