Owned by bisexuals, this clean and spacious hotel is in the middle of Berlin’s gay nightlife scene and close to a bus route and the underground. Partners Christine and Gerd offer rooms with names like “The Japanese” and “The Italian Room,” which are all simply but stylishly decorated—some with sayings from Brecht and other German writers. Christine and Gerd pride themselves on being both artists and hoteliers, and the ambiance echoes that background. There’s an honor bar where guests keep track of their own drinks, and breakfast is the only meal served. (The Savignyplatz area, with its many restaurants, is also located nearby.) The hosts keep a fridge stuffed with goodies so hungry guests can raid the icebox in the middle of the night and not feel ashamed. An overall cozy, stylish, and friendly feeling pervades. If you like peace and quiet, book the rooms at the back of the house.

You can find the 3 star Hotel Art Nouveau in a beautifully restored building of the art nouveau architectural period located centrally in the heart of the city. Take the historical elevator to the fourth floor. There you will discover a pleasant blend of old and new. All of this is available to you - only two minutes away on foot from the Kurfurstendamm; along with some of the best shopping in Berlin. The Savignyplatz with its many restaurants is also located nearby. Bus no 109 will take you directly to the airport or to the train station Bahnhof Zoo. You can easily reach the trade fair with bus no 149. Friedrichstrasse; Potsdamer Platz and Mitte are also only a short distance away. If you desire you can take advantage of the hotels conference facilities for up to 30 people. The reception is open until 20.00. For late arrivals please contact the hotel. Additional Information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room of parents. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
