Young Island is a five-minute boat ride from Saint Vincent, but that brief trip, as well as Young Island Resort's lush landscaping, gives the property the feel of an upscale castaway idyll. The 35-acre island blooms with flowers and guests dine under thatched palapas. Although there's no kids' program, the resort is family-friendly. Choose from waterfront or hillside accommodations. Activities include snorkeling, windsurfing, and tennis.
