  • The Kittleman House is open from May 1 through October 31 each year, but accepts reservations throughout the year.
  • Hike Anthony's Nose, a side trail of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, on the eastern side of the Hudson at the Bear Mountain bridge. The river views are well worth the steep climb.

Visitor Information

Description:
In the 1850s, Cold Spring was a bustling Hudson River town. Commerce was booming, and the West Point Foundry was at its peak. The Kittleman House Bed and Breakfast was one of many small hotels catering to the foundry workers and their "friends." Two industrious ladies, Phoebe and Elizabeth, owned and ran the hotel, enjoying a very lucrative business. Even though Cold Spring was, and still is, a small village, business in the hotel continues to be successful.
