Guests at the Greenville Inn can choose among several options on the property. There's a main inn built as a timber baron's home in 1895. There are also cozy cottages set on the corner of the property. A veranda stretches the length of the main inn and is a perfect place to spend a Sunday morning with the paper and a cup of coffee.

The Greenville Inn is located just up the hill from downtown Greenville and its harbor on Moosehead Lake. Rental canoes and kayaks are available in town, and guests can take a guided cruise of the lake. Moose safaris are also popular in the area. Registered Maine guides can paddle or motor guests within sight of one of North America's largest mammals.

The food at the inn is consistently ranked among Maine's best. Chef Hillard uses local ingredients, from lake trout to farm-raised venison, to create gourmet New England cuisine. The dining room faces west and diners can watch the sun set over the forested mountains above the lake.
