This luxurious hotel housed in a late-19th-century villa makes for an elegant seaside residence. The grounds still feel private and lush, with tables and chairs sitting among cultivated olive groves and fruit orchards, and gorgeous sea views. An even better place to hang out is the saltwater swimming pool carved into the side of the cliff, accessible by two elevators. Laze under an umbrella, or dine on grilled fish at the hotel's Restaurant Al Mare. The 36 standard, superior, and deluxe rooms and the 13 junior suites and executive junior suites are located in the main building, with garden suites and an additional 17 rooms in the hotel's two other villas. The décor is classically Italian, with arches, drapery, and gold furniture (think Versace). The hotel's exquisite spa uses Mediterranean herbs and citrus fruits for its massages and beauty treatments.

Each morning guests are served a generous, delicious breakfast based on typical Neapolitan pastries, such as Sfogliatelle. They also offer guided tours to the spectacular excavations in Pompeii or day trips to Amalfi and Capri.
