The Ritz-Carlton, along with its sister property, the JW Marriott, share the 500-acre Grande Lakes property, whose highlight for golfers is the 18-hole Greg Norman course. The Ritz-Carlton has 584 rooms, compared to the Marriotts' 1000, as well as the Ritz-Carlton Spa and the Ritz Kids program, with supervised activities for ages five to twelve. Guests of either hotel may enjoy the other property's facilities. Kids hang out in the Marriott's lazy river pool and families like the dive-in poolside movies. Budding duffers can sign up for a "golf-etiquette" lesson at the Ritz. Grande Lakes is about ten miles from Walt Disney World and seven miles from Universal Orlando.
