Named for Copenhagen's City Hall Square where it sits, The Square Hotel couldn't be more ideally and centrally located, with Tivoli Gardens, Strøget (the city's pedestrian shopping nirvana), and the train station (with its easy airport connection) all within a few short blocks, and the famous Cosy gay bar is within an easy walk. The Square's 267 rooms are stylishly steeped in Scandinavian minimalism, and all feature free Internet. For an added but reasonably-priced treat, book one of the larger and more tricked out executive rooms, which boast balconies and killer views of the Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square) below. Another excellent view comes from within the sixth floor breakfast room, its large windows rendering it a lovely and bright A.M. rejuvenation station.
