The hotel is near, but not in, the French Quarter. That means you'll have to walk a little ways to get to the attractions, but the location is quiet and away from the rowdier areas of the city.

For a truly memorable New Orleans experience, nothing beats a stay in a classic century-old hotel with a solid history of luxury and customer service. Recipient of the AAA Four-Diamond award since 1996 and a 2005 Conde Nast “Gold List” choice, Hotel Le Pavillon features opulent and romantic décor and belongs to the National Register of Historic Places.

Along with the chandeliers, statues, dramatic paintings, and plenty of marble and crystal, guests are treated to unexpected pleasures like a 10:00 p.m. peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich, milk, and hot chocolate reception in the lobby. The hotel is a quick walk to the French Quarter, the New Orleans Arena, and the Louisiana Superdome.

Standard rooms are on the small side, but there are a selection of junior suites and larger suites available with extra seating, space, and mini-fridges. A rooftop pool, hot tub, and fitness center lets you cool off or work up a sweat in style.

Patrons indulge their palates in the aristocratic Crystal Room restaurant, specializing in Cajun and Creole cuisine. In contrast, guests gather in the casual Gallery Lounge to enjoy evening drinks. Visits to Bourbon Street or local casinos are made even sweeter by an old-fashioned Southern homecoming every night, the staff offers complimentary peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate in the Grand Lobby. Le Pavillon Hotel is a member of Historic Hotels of America, as well as Leading Hotels of the World. Le Pavillon was also named one of the worlds best places to stay on Conde Nast's 2005 Gold List. This is an entirely non-smoking facility.
