The name says it all. The hotel overlooks Elliott Bay and Seattle's waterfront at Pier 67, and there isn't a hotel in the city with views better than this. In addition to watching the boats coming and going, you might spot a leaping salmon in the bay as you dine on the outdoor patio at The Edgewater's restaurant, which specializes in local seafood and ingredients. As for the rooms, all of them feature a gas fireplace, pine furnishings, cozy comforters, and large windows with views of Puget Sound and downtown Seattle. And added to all of the luxurious touches is an eco-sensibility—the Edgewater has many green practices in place from composting food waste to donating older furniture to charities.

Pay extra for a room with a full view of Elliott Bay and the passing ferries, cruise ships, and freighters, and the city lights at night.
The Six Seven restaurant at the hotel is one of the finest in the city, and the excellent vista is part of dining here. Begin in the lounge with drinks and happy-hour appetizers at fireside.

The waterfront location of the luxury Edgewater offers dramatic views of the downtown skyline, Elliott Bay, and the Olympic Mountains in the distance. Located on Pier 67 in the heart of downtown, the Edgewater is within walking distance of many Seattle attractions. Recently renovated rooms include European spa showers, black granite counters, quality linens, and down blankets and pillows. Half the rooms look out over Elliott Bay, while the rest face the Seattle skyline.

Beatles fans can opt for Room 272, the enormous suite where the Fab Four stayed in 1964.
It's worth fronting the extra charge for a water view instead of a city view overlooking the parking lot. The water-view rooms afford some of the most impressive vantage points you'll find on the water.

Made famous a few decades ago when the Beatles fished from their room window, the Edgewater still keeps its, ahem, edge—right on the Puget Sound. Children six and over and teens alike will love its proximity to the water in addition to its relatively recently renovated rooms, many of which have comfortably rustic fireplaces and chic, unfinished wood. The hotel provides bikes for you and your kids to use in nearby Myrtle Edwards Park. The hotel offers both waterfront and city-facing rooms.
