Florida City is a great alternative for overnight stays when visiting the Everglades and the Florida Keys. Hotels are a lot less expensive than Miami Beach and you will get a real taste of Old Florida and it's peple working the vegetable and fruit groves daily. Don't forget to stop by Robert is Here for one of their famous tropical fruit milkshake before continuing to the Everglades National Park.
