- The kid factor in Orlando peaks during school holidays, summer, Christmas, and around spring break. But arrive mid-September through mid-December (except Thanksgiving) and you'll enjoy cooler weather, shorter lines, and fewer kids. Mid-April through mid-May and most of January are other periods when the moppets are preoccupied elsewhere.
- For the full Cinderella treatment, consider tying the knot in Walt Disney World. This is big business—1,600 couples exchange vows at the resort annually, though the customized Disney wedding package doesn't come cheap. But where else can you be delivered to your ceremony in Cinderella's horse-drawn coach and have Mickey and Minnie greet guests at the reception? There are dozens of potential locations for a celebration, led by Disney's Wedding Pavilion on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, an elegant venue with a perfectly framed view of Cinderella Castle in the background.
