The Wellness Festival over Memorial Day weekend recruits experienced practitioners to discuss, educate, and heal with more than 50 programs on the integral trinity of wellness: mind, body, and spirit. Scheduled speakers include author Dan Millman (Way of the Peaceful Warrior, H. J. Kramer Incorporated, 1985) and shamanic healer Dr. Albert Villoldo.

Fly-Fishing Film Fest

Silver Creek Outfitters debuts this specialty film fest of exclusively fly-fishing-oriented films from around the country. All proceeds will be donated to the Nature Conservancy's nearby Silver Creek Preserve.

Wagon Days
August 30–September 1
Sun Valley's biggest event celebrates Ketchum's mining heritage, with shoot-outs on Main Street, old-style fiddlers' contests, and the Big Hitch Parade, which showcases museum-quality wagons, buggies, and stagecoaches from around the country. Select horse breeds, such as Pasos, Morgans, and Arabians, pull the historic conveyances, including Sun Valley's own Big Hitch, a massive historic ore wagon once used to haul silver, gold, and iron ore for refinement to Ketchum.
