Finally, an event where you can wear chaps in public without enduring awkward looks. During the 27th annual Old West Days event, the town hosts a history-imbued extravaganza full of music, theater, arts and crafts, rodeo events, chili cook-offs, a mountain man rendezvous, and cowboy poetry.
Independence Day

Celebrate Independence Day in the spirit of American freedom with three maverick events: the 4th of July Parade in Town Square, known for its antler archways; Music in the Hole Festival, a free outdoor concert featuring patriotic tunes by the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra; and the Jackson Hole Jaycees 4th of July Fireworks Display at dusk at the base of picturesque Snow King Mountain.
Fall Arts Festival

This 18-day festival (in its 24th year) exposes visitors to visual, contemporary, culinary, Western, Landscape, Wildlife, and Native American art, with gallery walks, workshops, artist receptions, auctions, and more. And don't miss the Western Design Conference, known as the world's preeminent exhibition of everything western including furniture, fashion, and accessories.
