This longtime Riviera Maya favorite has been rebranded, and the 90-suite, all-inclusive luxury boutique has introduced a Wellness Experience package to go with its new name.
It begins in your suite, where a stereo system plays soothing sounds, the bathroom is stocked with organic tub treats and the air is subtly perfumed with aromatherapeutic scents. The package comprises a nutritional consultation, organic meals, yoga and an indulgent midnight Moon and Star massage, complete with champagne.
The resort also offers plenty of wellness options to all its guests: There's a hydrothalasso pool and aqua gym; sauna, steam room and plunge pool; a free 25-minute reflexology session and skin analysis; and a temazcal (Maya sweat lodge) ceremony every other day, all set against a serenity-inspiring seascape.
Minutes from Cancún, Paraiso occupies a blessed stretch of peaceful and private Puerto Morelos beach, lapped by cerulean waves. "There's something inherently therapeutic about trying to count the shades," says one guest. "But I always lose track at around 10."
From $394 per person in low season ($1,030 high). The wellness experience is an additional $65 per person per night. 998-872-8300
