Biography

Eric Lindberg is a Denver-based writer and photographer who travels to familiar and remote corners of the world in search of the exotic, the exquisite, and the offbeat. Eric is the Society of American Travel Writers 2011 Travel Photographer of the Year. His journeys have taken him throughout Asia, Africa, the South Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. Covering subjects ranging from foreign rail journeys and wilderness river expeditions to American road trips and urban cultural destinations, his award-winning stories and photos have appeared in magazines, books, calendars, newspapers, tourism websites, and promotional travel publications nationwide and overseas. He is the author of two editions of Colorado Off The Beaten Path, a popular Globe Pequot guidebook. Eric also works with numerous tourism offices and visitor’s bureaus in the U.S., Canada, and Europe to provide destination imagery for promotional publications.
