Now better known as one of the men of Zoom Vacations, Bryan has been a high-school English teacher, personal trainer, model, freelance writer, actor, and a hotel marketing and events-sales manager. He grew up in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, known today as Oregon's premier wine country, and his childhood was filled with outdoors adventure. His roots in the outdoors, coupled with his general curiosity and his appreciation for health and fitness (as well as for fabulous hotels and resorts), have led him to adventures in every continent but Antarctica. He has toured the ancient catacombs of Rome, swam with horses where Australia's rainforest meets the reef, climbed Guatemala's Mayan ruins, haggled with Hong Kong merchants, ridden elephants in India and Zimbabwe, danced the Samba in Brazil (though not very well), and even studied ecology in a Scottish commune.
The tragedy of September 11th gave him the impetus he needed to start a truly fulfilling career. He wanted to do something that focused on his biggest passion in life (travel) and that would give him the opportunity to give back to the community. He quit his job and risked everything he had to start Zoom Vacations, an award-winning gay vacation and event company. Zoom Vacations has given him the opportunity to explore much of the world and to meet people from every corner of the planet. In addition to his duties at Zoom Vacations, Bryan is also the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the IGLTA (International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association). He was one of nine travel experts featured on the Travel Channel's hit show Vacation Challenge, and was the South America Gay Travel Expert for four episodes of the gay travel show Bump, which airs on Logo. He is the gay travel expert for several gay online and print publications worldwide.
