Sarah White has more than seven years of publishing experience, five of which she spent with National Geographic magazine writing for both print and online media. Blame it on the photos; while working for National Geographic, Sarah developed a strong desire to travel, leading her to explore much of Western Europe. She now combines her passion for travel with her love of the written word. She has written for Smithsonian.com and currently writes for Safari Club International Foundation, covering their worldwide conservation projects. Sarah is currently pursuing a masters degree in writing at Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, she is a writing coach at KIPP DC KEY Academy, teaching students the art of crafting personal essays.
