What to do in Eel Weir State Park

Eel Weir State Park is located along the Oswegatchie River just 2 miles north of Black Lake and 7 miles south of the town of Ogdensburg offering nature trails and picnic area. Handicapped accessible camping is offered as well as a fishing site.

Eel Weir State Park is located on the Oswegatchie River two miles from Black Lake. Both waterways are known for excellent bass fishing and are ideal for canoes or rowboats. As it is small and secluded, the park is a perfect place to get away from it all. Thirty-eight campsites are available, as are a picnic area and pavilion.

Recreation
Eel Weir State Park offers camping, picnicking, a boat launch, nature trails and fishing opportunities. The park is open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day weekend

Eel Weir State Park is located along the Oswegatchie River just 2 miles north of Black Lake and 7 miles south of the town of Ogdensburg. The park may be reached off SR 812.
