Anonymous user asked:Need some ideas for children activities/sightseeing in Victoria,BCAnswer this1 AnswerLacy answered:Victoria is a great place for kids, especially ones your age that can easily get around and remember the experience. I would definitely suggest a whale-watching tour. The boat trip is fun, even if you don’t see a whale, but most times they guarantee a sighting even if they have to stay out on the water all day. Fisherman’s Wharf is a fun place to let the kids run around at. There are all sorts of little fish n’ chips stands for lunch and the colorful floating homes are fun to peek inside of. The entire waterfront area is a treat. Rent bikes and cruise around the rim of the Inner Harbour while you watch (and listen—they’re quite loud) the floatplanes landing nearly every 30 minutes. If you have the time and money, climbing aboard your own floatplane is a memorable experience. Lastly, the Victoria Bug Museum is a great place to spend a few hours watching ants make their way through a massive farm or holding a hairy tarantula. Have fun on your trip!

Anonymous user asked:How do I get from Seattle to Victoria?Answer this2 Answerswestcoastchick answered:Kenmore Air floatplanes have a number of daily flights between Seattle and Victoria. The Clipper is a nice trip, but the departure times are very specific and limited. If you have a car, you may wish to consider taking the Coho ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, or the Anatortes ferry to Sidney. Finally, Horizon Air flies from SeaTac to YYJ several times a day.
