  Each country has its own treasure. From my experience I can tell: - You can go to Brazil and enjoy being at the beach, the best time to go there is in carnival. There are also really nice places to visit, at least on Rio do Janeiro. In Brazil you will find warm water in the North. Uruguay, Argentina and Chile seas are cold. - If you like testing wine or go skiing you may want to visit Argentina in winter (South hemisphere) . Mendoza is well know by it wines and you can go skiing to Las Leñas - Peru has some nice places for sight seen but the cites are very not clean
