Anonymous user asked:How long does it take to drive from Peoria Illinois to Seattle?Answer this3 AnswersAnonymous user answered:We drove from Sparland IL (20 miles north of Peoria) to Lakewood, WA (20 miles south of Seattle) in 3.5 days. We traveled via I-90 and did very little sightseeing along the way as I had driven this route before. You can push it a bit more each day and do it in 3 days. We travel with a dog so have to stop more. About 1900 miles each way. Prepare for delays and detours in mountains due to construction and rock slides -- they happen.

Geoff answered:Do not forget everything the Northwest has to offer: the San Juans or Whidbey Island (breathtaking - great B&B's), Anacortes (the home for whale watching and guided kayak trips - if you can't make the San Juan Islands), at the Space Needle - see the new Chihuly Center; Tacoma - lots to do and close-up of Mount Rainier; Yakima Valley (wine tasting); White Pass or Chinook Pass (high in Alp-like Mountains); Mount Rainier National Park. That's just the tip of the iceberg. The reading was accurate -- there's so much to do, just in Seattle. Kayaking? On Lake Washington. See the Sound Experience (near the Space Needle). Ride the Duck (fun), Tour the Puget Sound - ride a ferry. You just can't go wrong: we are lucky to spend a lifetime in this area.

Anonymous user asked:Anonymous user answered:I would recommend staying in downtown Seattle. It has lots of good shopping, food, and there is a cool music museum. I would recommend a car.

Anonymous user asked:What should we (2 women) absolutely see while in Seattle?Answer this4 AnswersJean answered:Take a trip on a Washington State ferry! The view is spectacular and the price is very reasonable. On Bainbridge Island you can take a tour with Kitsap Tours (they meet you at the ferry terminal).. Choose between a tour of the island, a tour of the beautiful Bloedel Reserve or a full day touring several unique little communties west of Seattle. www.KitsapTours.com
