You can catch the Block Island Ferry from Newport for around $20. If you need a day of relaxation and aesthetic beauty, Block Island might very well be worth the ferry fare. There are 350 spring-fed freshwater ponds and 17 miles of beaches. If the fall air brings you in from the shore, an array of restaurants, boutiques and lighthouses are located on the island. I hope this helps you plan your travels. Have a great trip!

I believe you might be looking for Westerly, Rhode Island, which is about 4.5 miles east of Interstate 95 from exit 91. Just take CT 234E/Pequot Trail when you exit I-95. It is about an 11 minute drive. I hope this helps you find your destination!

Best way would be to take 95 through CT and into RI. Get off at exit 3 and follow 138 to rt 1. It's a nice ride, from NY depending on the time of day, should take between 3 and 4 hours. There are buses from Newport to Warren. Car ride is about 25 to 30 minutes.
