Anonymous user asked:Can i go to Chitwan for one day and ride an elephant? Which company does this.Answer this2 AnswersAnonymous user answered:No - it is a five to seven hour busride from Kathmandu. Better to go at least over night. Take an elephant ride the evening you get there - there are plenty of lodges next to the park. Then the next morning take the longer jeep ride, which if you take it early enough, you MIGHT see a tiger - very rare, but possible. On both you should see one-horned white Asian rhinos. You can book a hotel in Kathmandu or in Chitwan - and book the tours in Chitwan. Any other questions you can contact me through my website - www.altavistatrek.com - I'm an American living in Kathmandu, running a trekking company with my Nepalese partners. David
