  Unfortunately, Narragansett beaches are closed to dogs from April through September. However, Block Island Beach is accessible by ferry from Narragansett. In Portsmouth, Sandy Point Beach welcomes dogs after 5pm. Teddy's Beach is also in Portsmouth and allows dogs any time of day, as long as they are on a leash.
