  looking for specific hot spots for seeing moose in September

  Bill, I contacted Isle Royale National Park with your question and the NPS's Katie Donovan replied with the following advice: "There really is not a particular hot spot for moose viewing on Isle Royale. Moose can be seen on the Superior shore, the inland lakes, in marshes or up on the Greenstone ridge. Currently, there are over 500 moose on the island. Chances of seeing one are pretty good."
