Expert Travel Advice to Hilton Head Island

Top Answers To Hilton Head Island Travel Questions

If you're headed to Hilton Head Island, the weather there is not that different than Savannah, GA, where I live. You're looking at highs in the upper 70s to low 80s as the norm. If you're in the sun, it feels a lot warmer. However, this time of year can also have some swings in temperature, so be prepared for some cooler days, especially if it's cloudy. For the most part, I'd say it doesn't really start feeling like Autumn around here until early November. I'd pack a good mix of options, leaning towards short sleeves and such, and check the weather report a day or two before you leave to confirm your choices. Enjoy your trip!

yes! There is plenty to keep non-golfers busy on Hilton Head. Tennis is big here, as is just chilling on the beach with a cold drink. Visit a day spa, or hit the outlet shops. Check out a movie, or, yes, you can even practice your swing at mini-golf. You'll wish you had longer than a weekend!

The Barony Beach Club is affiliated to the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa, which has a zero-entry pool. Don't know if they have 6-bedroom units, but you could book a couple of places to accommodate your group. Search for "Hilton Head" and "Barony Beach Club" in Away.com's vacation rentals directory for more info: http://away.com/plan-a-trip/vacation-rentals.html
