Anonymous user asked:Would you recommend a week long visit to the Everglades National Park the week of...Answer this1 AnswerAnonymous user answered:I contacted Capt. Charles Wright of EvergladesAreaTours.com with your questions. Here's what he had to say: "December is a great time in the park. By the later part of the month, we complete the transition to what we call 'winter.' Both air and water temperatures cool down a bit with mid-day temperatures usually in the high to mid 70s. The Everglades area is approximately 2 million acres of wilderness and has a vast number of species... from crocodiles to mosquitoes. But, summer certainly hosts more mosquitoes than the winter months. Late December, especially between Christmas and New Year's is the busiest time in the park, so it's advisable to plan early for lodging and any tours. If you are planning a multi-day paddle into the park's backcountry, you can only obtain a backcountry permit 24 hours in advance. Many of the 'close' campsites could book completely full. However, there are outfitters in the area the provide water livery services that can save your trip." Hope this helps!

Anonymous user asked:Anonymous user answered:Your best bet would be to call the hotel you want to stay at and see if they will allow you to store them. Since you're paying for the room, I don't see why it would be a problem, but speak to a manager just to be sure.
