    Hi Chris, there's a small Adventure Park in Cozumel that has a zipline, though it's not the best. Obviously, though, Cozumel snorkeling is fantastic. You might also consider somewhere like Dominica, a small island with both amazing snorkeling and a mountainous, rainforest interior. Rain Forest Adventures Dominica features the highest zip line tour in the southern Caribbean. Soufriere-Scotts Head Bay and Champagne Beach are both popular local spots for snorkeling!

    Though it can be rainy, it's a nice time to go. You can see great wildlife during this time and get nice discounts on hotels, etc. It's post high season, and before a real hurricane threat.

    Lots of open-ended strands to this question, Rich, but in general, yes, Costa Rica should be a great place to retire with a lower cost of living than U.S., good weather, laid-back lifestyle, and fascinating culture, landscapes, people, etc.
