  Hello. Are there any camp sites that are near the beach? Or is there a decent family...

  Hi, I have stayed at some nice "full service" sites like Cape Island , Holly Shores, and the Beachcomber. When the kids were small, we liked those places for the activities. As we aged, all we did was go to the beach so the full service sites were not worth it. We love the peace and tranquility of The Depot. No frills but clean washrooms, quiet hours that are respected, and only 1 mile to the beach. Best of luck Laura.

  Hi Peg, To get your beach tags, you buy them the first day you walk on the beach. There are vendors at every entrance. Last year's rates (I believe they are the same this year) were 5$ a day, 10$ for 3 days, 13$ a week (Sat - Sat) and 25$ per season. By the way, children under 12 can go on the beach for free. It is a great spot ... enjoy

  Although the weather's cooling (average temps in the low to mid 50s) and it's the off-season, Cape May is definitely not shuttered up in November. Events include the Cape May Jazz Festival (November 7-9) and nature walks to catch the tail end of the Atlantic flyway's big fall bird migration.
