Thanks to its locale in the South Pacific, Rarotonga is warm year-round. The coolest time of year is June to August; high season falls around this time, from July through September. Although this is technically winter here, temperatures average 77 degrees.
November to March marks the warmer season, when tropical showers are frequent and cyclones make an occasional appearance. The height of summer, December through January, is also when the islands get the most humidity and temperatures hover in the low 80s.
